You can find opportunities for employment on and off campus through Career Advising and Planning Services as well as the Employment Services Office of University Human Resources Management. CAPS also provides professional assistance in the preparation and review of your resumes, curriculum vitae, application essays, and cover letters, as well as guidance for making the most of interviews and networking opportunities.

Employment for Student Spouses and Domestic Partners

The central employment offices of the University of Chicago and the University of Chicago Medical Center both provide a variety of employment opportunities for student spouses and domestic partners. Lists of job openings can be found at jobs.uchicago.edu and uchospitals.edu/jobs. Jobs are also frequently posted at the University’s online classified ad source, uchi.marketplace. Employment off campus can be found through multiple sources, including Chicago Reader Classifieds, Craigslist, CareerBuilder.com, and Monster.com, among other sites.
